Organic Management of Fire Blight in the Upper Midwest

Fruit farmers are increasingly trying to meet the demand for organic, locally grown apples and pears in the Upper Midwest.  Fire blight and other diseases are a major barrier to organic fruit production in our region.  To help organic farmers control this disease and to lay the groundwork for future research, OFGA has published a guide to summarize recent scientific research alongside information from in-depth interviews with practicing organic farmers.   Read more below.
